VisionArts Caring for Callaway

eye doctor Jefferson CityThroughout the month of November, VisionArts Caring for Callaway will hold a pet supply drive to benefit the Callaway County Humane Society.  The Callaway County Humane Society is an organization that provides adoption services for abandoned and homeless domesticated animals. They also share lost and found reports throughout the community, provide emergency pet food donations, and educate the community caring for pets.

The Callaway County Humane Society does not have a physical location, and therefore, must rely on volunteers to provide foster homes for the animals while they seek permanent homes for them.  VisionArts employs a staff full of animal lovers, so the care of lost, abandoned, and homeless pets is a cause that is dear to them.  VisionArts Caring for Callaway would like to contribute to the care of these animals by collecting supplies that the caregivers need while the animals wait for adoption.

We invite you to drop off your donations to our office at 614 Market St in Fulton any time during regular office hours from November 1 through 30.  Bring along your receipt for the items and we will match your donation dollars with a gift certificate to VisionArts for the same amount.  The humane society has requested the following items for donation: dog and cat collars, harnesses, and leashes in all sizes, dog toys, canned dog food and canned cat food.

In addition to donating to our pet supply drive, other ways to help the Callaway County Humane society include becoming a foster caregiver, adopting a pet from them, or supporting fundraising events they hold throughout the year. Information about the humane society can be found at callawaycountyhumanesociety.org or you can find them on facebook.  Thank you for helping us to support this wonderfulorganization in our community!
